Transport solutions

Distinctive goods. Clearly organised transport.

For a one-off item, its actual condition and the arrangements at both locations matter. We review your information, resolve handling and access questions and agree the scope to be quoted.

01

Transport prototypes from development to customer demonstrations

We organise prototype transport between development teams, presentations and recipients. Planning follows the version actually prepared: an unpacked model has different requirements from a demonstrator in a transport case. We clarify handling, collection readiness and the required handover date with you.

02

Ship optical instruments with a clear handover brief

For optical instruments, the instrument, lenses and accessories need clear identification. State which items are packed together and which travel separately. Existing protective cases and manufacturer instructions belong in the initial enquiry so that the required handling can be discussed before collection.

03

Move measuring equipment between working locations

For a measuring instrument, identify the exact unit being moved. Provide its type, accessories and transport packaging. Even where instruments are identical, an internal reference and the next working location help prevent confusion during handover and keep the shipment linked to its purpose.

04

Transport camera equipment as a complete production kit

Professional camera equipment often travels in several cases serving different purposes. Describe the complete kit needed for the next assignment, rather than only the camera. The package overview should show which cases must arrive together for the recipient to have a usable set.

05

Ship valuable audio equipment with a precise package overview

Individual audio units, fully populated racks and separate loudspeakers are different shipments. Describe the actual configuration and packaging condition. The weight of a complete rack should include its installed equipment, rather than being inferred from the empty enclosure weight listed in a catalogue.

06

Move designer furniture between businesses and presentation spaces

For a valuable piece of furniture, shape and surface matter as much as size. Describe the item in its expected collection condition. List removable parts as separate packages only when their appropriate preparation has actually been arranged with the responsible person.

Good to know

Plan your transport

What goods can I request transport for?

Examples include prototypes, valuable samples, models and delicate technical equipment. We establish the requirements from the actual item, its packaging and the requested route.

Can I enquire before all details are confirmed?

Yes. Start with the type of goods, intended route, preferred dates and any known package details. We identify what is still needed to assess the job. Dimensions, weight and collection readiness must be confirmed before the final agreement.

Who handles loading and unloading?

Responsibility is agreed for both locations before booking. We establish which people and loading equipment are available on site and which additional tasks you need. The quoted scope sets out who handles each task.

What determines the transport price?

The route, package dimensions and weight, timing constraints and handover conditions determine the work involved. We assess these for your shipment and specify the quoted scope, with requested additional tasks and return journeys identified separately.
