Planning example · illustrative scenario
Illustrative planning example: An architectural practice plans to move a model from Germany to a project partner in Italy.
Discuss a similar task ↗The model sits on a baseboard, with a removable cover and a separately packed plinth.
In this scenario, the requested meeting room is accessible only by lift. The package’s external dimensions and the full access route therefore matter.
The practice records dimensions and weight including the cover, protection and baseboard.
The recipient describes doors, the lift and the route to the room with measurements.
The enquiry distinguishes the entrance from the requested room so the handover scope can be assessed.
Good to know
Describe the room, access route and any requested positioning; these are agreed as additional tasks.
Images of the closed packaging and relevant narrow points supplement measurements and show access questions.
An architectural model often combines a baseboard, fine structures and a separate cover. The enquiry concerns the complete prepared unit. Explain whether the cover remains fitted during transport and which components have already been packed separately following the responsible specialist’s preparation instructions.
Learn moreMany delays happen not on the road but at the door. For both addresses, describe how a vehicle can approach, where it can stop and what route leads to the goods or the destination room. Small details such as thresholds or tight corners matter.
Learn moreWhether a shipment is handed over at the vehicle, on the ground floor or directly at its final position makes a big difference to staffing, time and planning. The desired handover point should therefore be stated precisely in the request rather than settled on arrival.
