Plan your transport

Statutory driving and rest times for drivers are part of every plan and limit how far a vehicle can travel in one day. So collection in the morning does not necessarily mean same-day delivery over long distances. Check whether next-day delivery suits your job or whether collection can be brought forward. For sensitive goods, we clarify with you whether and how the shipment stays in the vehicle overnight and what that means for temperature and access.

Arrival the next morning: often the best choice

On long routes, delivery early the next morning is often easier to plan than a late arrival on collection day. The recipient is available, goods-in is open and there is time for checks and set-up. Tell us from what time the recipient can accept.

Direct runs over long distances

A direct run without transhipment can also be planned over long distances: the shipment stays in the same vehicle from collection to delivery. This reduces handovers and makes the process more predictable. We show you whether this makes sense for your job compared with a combined tour.

What matters

  • Estimate driving time realistically including mandatory breaks
  • Consider next-day delivery as an option
  • Clarify where the goods stay overnight
