Plan your transport
Ask the site manager about the current status: is the access road surfaced, is there a lockable room, can a hoist or crane be used and at what times? Clarify whether site rules apply, such as registration, protective equipment or a safety induction. Valuable items should only be delivered when a suitable, clean and protected room is available and someone from the project team accepts the shipment. A photo of the access shortly before delivery avoids surprises.
Construction sites change week by week
What was a gravel track at the time of request may be tarmacked or closed by delivery day. Have site management confirm the access situation a few days before delivery. If anything changes, we adjust vehicle and process in time.
Coordinating with other trades
Many trades work on a site at the same time. A fixed delivery date agreed with site management prevents your fittings from having to be stored between screeding and painting. Tell us the planned installation date so that delivery is shortly before it.
What matters
