Plan your transport
Agree the delivery date with the shop-fitting project manager: are floor and walls finished, is the room lockable and clean? State whether several deliveries should arrive in a fixed order, for example furniture before decoration. Shopping centres and arcades often have their own delivery rules for the yard, goods lift and fixed time slots before opening – ask centre management. In city-centre locations, stopping restrictions and pedestrian-zone delivery hours apply too.
Several branches in quick succession
If you open several locations one after another, the fittings can be planned as a sequence of deliveries. A shared packing list per branch and a fixed contact per site simplify handover. We show you whether routes can be combined.
Protecting newly finished floors and walls
Freshly laid floors and painted walls are easily damaged. Clarify with the site manager whether floor protection is in place and which routes may be used. These requirements feed into delivery planning.
What matters
- Align the delivery date with the fit-out schedule
- Confirm room readiness shortly before delivery
- Obtain delivery rules from the centre or pedestrian zone
