Plan your transport
List different components with their package and the related order. Sensitive fits, ground surfaces or protruding parts should be mentioned in the description so that they can be taken into account when loading and setting down. We do not need confidential drawings: external dimensions, weight, photos of the packed unit and your handling notes are sufficient. If the recipient expects several similar deliveries, a shared project reference on the delivery note and label helps.
First articles for approval: fixing date and recipient
For a first article inspection, a fixed appointment with quality assurance is often waiting at the customer. Tell us this date, the receiving point and the person accepting the sample. We plan arrival with a buffer before the inspection and record the handover on the delivery note.
Load carriers and fixtures
Precision parts often travel in special containers, on wooden pallets or in fixtures. State whether these carriers stay with the recipient or are to come back. Returning empty carriers can be combined with a later run if we know about it in time.
