Plan your transport

Before placing the order, read which rules for changes and cancellations are in the quotation and terms, and ask if nothing is visible. Name one person internally who may communicate changes bindingly, so that no contradictory messages arise. When postponing, say straight away whether the number of packages, dimensions, contacts or access also change – we then re-agree the overall scope rather than just swapping the date.

Postpone rather than cancel

A postponement is often better than a cancellation: the planning stays in place and only the date changes. Give us a new time frame if possible, or the time when you will know it. We keep the documents ready and confirm the new date as soon as it is fixed.

Changes the day before transport

Shortly before the date, vehicle, staff and process are already scheduled. Report changes by phone and also in writing so that they are sure to arrive. If dimensions or weight change, we check whether the planned vehicle still fits.

What matters

  • Read the change and cancellation rules before ordering
  • Name one person for binding changes
