Plan your transport
Describe the timeline from the goods’ point of view: when is the earliest delivery allowed, when must the exhibit be in place, and by when must it have left the venue after the event? Hotels, event venues and studios often have their own delivery times and a house technician contact – involve this person early. If the product is to stay covered until the reveal, clarify who handles covering and unpacking and where the packaging stays until collection.
How a launch transport runs
Collection at the development site or warehouse, the journey as a direct run without transhipment if required, delivery in the agreed window, handover to your event or product team. After the event, collection follows at the agreed time, either back or on to the next appointment. Each stage has a named contact and a time.
Several launch stops in a row
If the product is presented in several cities, the transport can be planned as a tour with fixed stops. Give us the locations, dates and whether the exhibit needs to return to the warehouse in between. We show you how single-run and tour planning differ in the quotation.
What matters
- Set earliest delivery and end of set-up
- Involve the venue’s technical or event contact
- Plan collection after the event at the same time
