Plan your transport

Attach the workshop’s acceptance conditions to your request: delivery times, return authorisation number (RMA) and any required accompanying documents. Record the device’s condition with photos before collection so that later questions can be answered clearly. Clarify whether accessories are sent or kept back and note this on the delivery note. Name the person who receives the workshop’s completion notice and releases the return transport.

When a device is urgently needed

If a line, laboratory or project stands still without the device, every day counts. Tell us when it must be back on site and ask the workshop whether express processing is possible. We then plan both legs as tightly as sensible – as a direct run if you wish.

Repairs abroad

If the manufacturer is in another country, accompanying documents may be required, and for destinations outside the EU also customs formalities for export and re-import. Clarify with the manufacturer and your customs office which documents are needed and let us know the outcome. We plan the transport on that basis.

What matters

  • State the return number and the workshop’s acceptance hours
  • Photograph condition and accessories before collection
  • Assign one person to release the return leg
